Kindness Is My Superpower is a workshop and performance residency series that brings the trans-formative power and joy of storytelling and beatboxing to families, non profit arts organization and K-12 schools throughout the country. Created through a collaboration with friend, colleague, and school counselor Katie Maxwell McIntyre, the workshop serves as a powerful learning tool.

A master teaching artist, Chesney has created and taught workshops and masterclasses, at New York University, Harvard University, Princeton University, the Julliard School, University of Wisconsin, at leading regional theaters, and for the U.S. State Department. He served as Chair of the Theater Department at Harlem School of the Arts, and is a longtime member of the New Victory Theater teaching artist ensemble in New York City.
